TRAX-IT Slaughterhouse software
Is designed to manage the complete information needs of a slaughter / packing facility. This includes software for animal receiving, slaughter, producer settlement, deboning room, packing room, finished goods inventory, sales and distribution. Our slaughterhouse software helps slaughterhouses find the true cost and margins made from their livestock purchases, by tracking from the supplier lot, or farm of origin, through the slaughterhouse to the customer. By doing this we can show you exactly how much of what you spend is turned into profit, and what’s not being used.
TRAX-IT Slaughterhouse software can be integrated with most software accounting packages for the general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable and financial reporting. All transactions in the system are online and update the TRAX-IT Server in real-time.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our small to medium size slaughterhouse customers have experienced increased customer demand, while having to deal with labor shortages and 'lack of experience' issues.
To help with these problems, Merit-Trax Technologies has worked with our customers to make changes to their operating procedures, which in conjunction with software modifications that we made for them, has enabled them to meet the increased demand with fewer staff.
As an example of this, we modified some of our customers box packing procedures so it would make it easier to identify the products being packed at the scale with less of an operator responsibility.
